Web Development for Worldwide Businesses

Aiming High

Since 1987, Jagged Globe has been one of the foremost firm running mountaineering adventures for customers. They were the first English company to organise a professionally-run expedition to Everest. Jagged Globe organise adventures for climbers around the world.

Although we didn’t construct the Jagged Globe website but we’ve updated a great deal, whilst retaining the original scheme with its impressive imagery.

It’s not been without difficulty, over the years we have had to:

  • Redevelop so that the website meets Google’s mobile-friendly standard.
  • To meet the emerging PCI (Payment Card Industry) DSS, we coded for the Sagepay (Opayo) payment system to take client deposits online.
  • Massively simplified the booking system. Returning climbers can now book a trip in as few as 5 clicks.
  • Developed a application for recording customer capacity. Climbing in the wilderness can be risky and is typically physically exacting – Jagged Globe need to be confident that each climber is fit to travel.
  • Integrated the company’s site with the SendInBlue mail management system so the mailing lists are fully GDPR compliant.
  • To help the client show the many photos that the customers collect, we have built tools to upload and manage clients’ images in bulk.

Unique Web Development for e-commerce in Wisbech

Amongst the most successful online vendors of model railways and toys in the north of England, with a volume of orders to match, Rails of Sheffield needed us to create an enterprise-level e-commerce solution.

Little Fire developed a new site on the industry-leading Shopify platform which has provided the much-needed stability to allow the business to grow.

The new site meets a number of challenges:

  • The model railways market permits pre-orders with extraordinarily long delivery timeframes. To manage this, we have created a on-off, distinct pre-order system using javascript integrated directly into the Shopify framework.
  • Stock management and order fulfilment is processed using Peoplevox. We coordinated teams of developers to get Peoplevox talking to Shopify and Rails of Sheffield’s two ebay stores.

Whatever you‘re selling, we’d like to hear from you.

New Businesses Countrywide

Little Fire Digital built the online presence for West Sussex medical aesthetics business, Casafia, when they needed something personal. This was an ideal job for Little Fire; we collaborated with our client to design the logo and branding combining soft colours and sharp, modern layout.

The website integrates with the Pabau Customer Relationship Management System – a system developed specifically for the medical aesthetics market.

Pabau is directly integrated with Mailchimp to handle client communications so we completed the Pabau email templates so that they matched the lovingly created branding of the corporate site. Mailing list subscription forms on the site add customers straight to a Mailchimp list and the customer is able to manage their preferences without ever leaving casafia.com.

To keep communication simple, the chat widget works with Facebook Messenger – our client’s regular text platform.

Web Development for Fundraising

AFC Wimbledon were in a bind. They had years dispossessed of their traditional home ground, Plough Lane, and had amazingly managed to purchase a site and start building the their new home ground on the same road, Plough Lane, in Wimbledon.

The new ground was nearly completed but they had run out of money.

Under mad time pressure, we stepped in, worked like fools and delivered a unique platform from which the club could sell bonds to raise money from their supporters.

It turned out to be the greatest fundraising effort in the history of the football league, and we helped it to make it happen. Read the case study to find out more.
