Little Fire for Bespoke Website Development in Lancashire

The team at Little Fire have been authoring custom websites across the country for many years. We’ve fixed a lot of thorny problems and come up with some terrific solutions.

Amongst our projects, Little Fire have: written stock control systems for regional supermarket franchise, integrated the Brightpearl Retail Operating System with custom websites, created unique product types to sell maps from animated browsable maps, loans to help finish the Plough Lane Stadium for AFC Wimbledon; and a simplified checkout application to sell mountaineering trips online.

Web Development in Lancashire – Every Problem is Different, Every Solution is Unique

Your business and its opportunities are yours, until you tell us about them we can’t tell you anything meaningful about them. So, instead, here are few brief examples to show some of the problems we’ve managed to resolve.

Unique Web Development for Business Worldwide

Reaching for the Top

From the late 1980s until today, Jagged Globe has been the leading firm organising mountaineering expeditions for clients. They were the first British company to organise a professionally-led expedition to Everest. Jagged Globe serve customers worldwide.

Although we didn’t construct the website but we’ve done a huge number of projects. All while keeping the original scheme and its impressive photography.

It’s not been straightforward, to stay up to date we have:

  • Redevelop so that the website meets Google’s mobile-friendly standard.
  • To meet the PCI (Payment Card Industry) DSS, we developed an interface for the Sagepay (Opayo) payment gateway to take deposits online.
  • Completely redesigned the online booking user-experience. Existing customers can now book a adventure in as few as 5 clicks.
  • Developed a application for recording climber fitness. Climbing at high altitudes is not without risk and is normally physically exacting – Jagged Globe need to be certain that each customer is safe to travel.
  • Integrated the company’s site with the SendInBlue email marketing system so the mailing lists are completely GDPR compliant.
  • To help Jagged Globe make best use of the many images that the climbers collect, we have built systems to upload and manage clients’ photos in bulk.

Rails of Sheffield Website - custom web development fromLittle Fire Digital

Bespoke Web Development for Online Retail in Whalley

Rails of Sheffield, are one of largest vendors of model railways and toys in the country – with a volume of orders to match. When they came to us, we needed to deliver enterprise-level e-commerce.

Developed on the rock-solid Shopify platform, the new Rails of Sheffield website has proven to be the solution they need.

The new site fixes a number of problems:

  • The model railways market permits pre-orders with very long delivery timeframes. To allow this, we have created a bespoke, separate pre-order system using javascript integrated directly into the Shopify framework.
  • Stock management and order fulfilment is processed using Peoplevox. Little Fire coordinated development teams to get Peoplevox talking to Shopify and Rails of Sheffield’s two ebay shops.

Whatever you have to sell, we’d like to hear from you.

Website Development for

New Businesses Countrywide

When West Sussex beauty practice, Casafia were looking to build their website, they consulted the help of Little Fire {Digital}. An ideal project for us; Little Fire worked with the client to develop the logo and branding combining soft colours and sharp, stylish design.

The website integrates with the Pabau CRM – a system designed specifically for the medical aesthetics sector.

Pabau is built to seamlessly work with Mailchimp to handle customer communications so we completed the Pabau email templates so that they matched the lovingly created design of the corporate site. Mailing list sign up forms on the website add users straight to a Mailchimp mailing list and the client is able to change their preferences without ever leaving casafia.com.

To keep things simple, the IRC widget plugs straight into Facebook Messenger – our client’s usual chat platform.

AFC Wimbledon and the Plough Lane Bond Website - Little Fire Sheffield helped bing the Dons home.

Bespoke Website Development for Fundraising

AFC Wimbledon were in a spot of bother. They had years ejected from their traditional home ground, Plough Lane, and had amazingly managed to acquire a site and start building the their new home ground on the same road, Plough Lane, in South London.

The new stadium was almost completed but they had run out of money.

Under lunatic time pressure, Little Fire stepped forward, worked like slaves and delivered a standalone platform from which AFC Wimbledon could issue bonds to raise money from their supporters.

It has been the greatest fundraiser in the history of the English football league, and Little Fire Digital helped it to make it happen. Read the case study to find out more.
