For over 35 years, Jagged Globe has been one of the leading company running mountaineering trips for customers. They were the first English company to organise a professionally-run attempt on Everest. Jagged Globe serve customers globally.
Although we didn’t build the Jagged Globe website but we have updated a huge number of projects. All while preserving the original design and its impressive imagery.
It’s not been simple, to stay up to date we have:
- Redesign so that the website meets Google’s mobile-friendly requirements.
- To meet the emerging PCI (Payment Card Industry) requirements, we developed an interface for the Sagepay (Opayo) online payment system to take deposits online.
- Massively simplified the online booking user-experience. Existing clients can now book a expedition in as few as 5 clicks.
- Developed a system for recording client capacity. Climbing mountains can be risky and is often physically exacting – Jagged Globe need to be certain that each customer is fit to travel.
- Integrated the Jagged Globe site with the SendInBlue email marketing platform so the mailing lists are completely GDPR compliant.
- To help the client make best use of the many photos that the customers collect, we have built systems to upload and manage customers’ photos in bulk.
Custom Web Development for e-commerce in Wellington
Rails of Sheffield, are one of largest online retailers of model railways and toys in the North of England – with a volume of sales to match. When they came to us, we needed to deliver enterprise-level e-commerce.
Built on the rock-solid Shopify system, the new Rails of Sheffield website has provided the much-needed stability to allow the business to grow.
The new site meets a number of challenges:
- The model railway market has pre-orders with very long delivery times. We have created a on-off, distinct pre-order system using javascript integrated directly into the Shopify framework.
- Stock management and order fulfilment is processed using Peoplevox. We coordinated teams of developers to get Peoplevox talking to Shopify and Rails of Sheffield’s two ebay shops.

When West Sussex medical aesthetics business, Casafia were looking to go online, they asked for the help of Little Fire {Digital}. This was a perfect task for us; we collaborated with our client to create the logo and branding combining soft colourways and sharp, modern layout.
The website integrates with the Pabau CRM – a system designed for the beauty sector.
Pabau is directly integrated with Mailchimp to handle customer emails so we built the Pabau email templates so that they matched the lovingly created branding of the main website. Mailing list sign up forms on the website add clients straight to a Mailchimp list and the user can update their contact preferences without ever leaving casafia.com.
To keep communication simple, the chat widget is integrated to work with Facebook Messenger – our client’s regular text platform.

AFC Wimbledon were in a fix. They had decades ejected from their historical home ground, Plough Lane, and had finally managed to acquire a site and start building the their new home ground on the same road, Plough Lane, in Wimbledon.
The new ground was about to be finished but they had run out of money.
Under lunatic time pressure, we stepped forward, worked like slaves to developed a bespoke platform from which the Dons could sell bonds and raise money from their supporters.
It has been the most successful fundraiser in the history of the English football league, and we helped it to make it happen. Read the case study to find out more.
“Wimbledon fans are always at their best in a crisis and we like a challenge. So when we needed to stop control of the club being sold off in late 2019, a few of us suggested launching a Bond scheme.
That idea went from concept to a live website in a fortnight thanks to the tireless efforts of Simon and Little Fire.
They had to deal with all of the standard website challenges (design, layout, content etc) as well complying with legal regulations and compliance policies that were being finalised as we went along.
