In the past, Little Fire have: written stock management systems for a Sheffield supermarket franchise, integrated the Brightpearl Retail Operating System with unique websites, created unique product types to sell maps from interactive browsable maps, bonds to help finish the Plough Lane Stadium for AFC Wimbledon; and a streamlined checkout procedure to sell mountaineering expeditions online.

Website Development for Global Businesses

Reaching for the Summit

From 1987 until today, Jagged Globe has been the foremost operators organising high-altitude expeditions for climbers. They were the first British company to organise a professionally-run attempt on Everest. Jagged Globe organise expeditions for customers around the world.

We didn’t design the Jagged Globe website but we have completed a huge number of projects. All while keeping the original design with its impressive imagery.

It hasn’t been simple, over the years we have had to:

  • Ensure the Jagged Globe website meets Google’s mobile-friendly standard.
  • To meet the PCI (Payment Card Industry) regulations, we coded for the Sagepay (Opayo) payment gateway to take client deposits online.
  • Massively simplified the online booking user-experience. Returning clients can now book a adventure in as few as 5 clicks.
  • Wrote a procedure for recording customer fitness. Climbing in the wilderness can be dangerous and is often physically exacting – Jagged Globe need to be confident that each client is safe to climb.
  • Integrated the Jagged Globe site with the SendInBlue mail management platform so the mailing lists are completely GDPR compliant.
  • To help the client display the many pictures that the customers collect, we have built an application to upload and manage clients’ pictures in bulk.

Rails of Sheffield Website - custom web development fromLittle Fire Digital

Custom Web Development for e-commerce in Thame

Rails of Sheffield, are amongst the largest vendors of model railways and hobbies in the North – with a volume of orders to match. When they came to Little Fire, we needed to deliver enterprise-level e-commerce.

Developed on the rock-solid Shopify platform, the new Rails of Sheffield website has provided the much-needed stability to allow the business to grow.

The new site fixes a number of problems:

  • The model railways market involves pre-orders with extraordinarily long delivery timeframes. We have created a bespoke, bespoke pre-order basket and checkout using javascript integrated directly into the Shopify framework.
  • Stock management and order fulfilment is processed using Peoplevox. Little Fire coordinated teams of developers to get Peoplevox talking to Shopify and the client’s two ebay stores.

Whatever you have to sell, we’d really love to hear from you.

Website Development for

New Businesses Nationwide

When West Sussex medical aesthetics clinic, Casafia were looking to build their website, they consulted the help of Little Fire {Digital Limited}. A perfect project for Little Fire; we collaborated with the client to design the logo and branding which combines subtle colours and clean, stylish design.

The website features online booking through the Pabau Customer Relationship Management System – a system developed specifically for the medical aesthetics sector.

Pabau is built to seamlessly work with Mailchimp to handle client emails so we completed the Pabau email templates so that they matched the lovingly created branding of the corporate website. Mailing list sign up forms on the main website add clients directly a Mailchimp mailing list and the client is able to change their settings without ever leaving casafia.com.

To keep communication simple, the IRC widget plugs straight into Facebook Messenger – our client’s preferred chat platform.

AFC Wimbledon and the Plough Lane Bond Website - Little Fire Sheffield helped bing the Dons home.

Custom Website Development for Fundraising

AFC Wimbledon were in a fix. They had decades dispossessed of their historical home ground, Plough Lane, and had amazingly managed to acquire a site and start building the their new home ground on the same street, Plough Lane, in South London.

The new stadium was nearly finished but they had run out of money.

Under insane time pressure, Little Fire stepped in, worked like fools and delivered a standalone platform from which AFC Wimbledon could sell bonds and raise money from their supporters.

It was the greatest fundraiser in the history of the English football league, and we helped it to make it happen. Read the case study to find out more.
