Little Fire for Custom Website Development in Cornwall

Our team at Little Fire have been developing custom online solutions across the country since the beginning of the internet. We’ve solved a lot of complex issues and come up with some outstanding solutions.

Amongst our projects, Little Fire have: written stock control systems for regional supermarket chain, integrated the Brightpearl order fulfilment system with unique websites, created unique product types to sell maps from Google maps, bonds to help finish the Plough Lane Stadium for AFC Wimbledon; and a custom checkout application to sell mountaineering expeditions online.

Web Development in Saltash – A Solution for Every Project

Your business is yours and you’ll know more about it than we can guess at. So, instead, here are some quick case studies to show some of the solutions we’ve delivered.

Unique Web Development for Worldwide Businesses

Aiming High

Since the late 1980s, Jagged Globe has been the foremost firm organising mountaineering trips for customers. They were the first English company to organise a professionally-led attempt on Everest. Jagged Globe serve customers worldwide.

We didn’t design the Jagged Globe website but we have completed a great deal, whilst retaining its original scheme and its beautiful imagery.

It’s not been simple, over the years we have:

  • Make the Jagged Globe site meets Google’s mobile-friendly requirements.
  • To meet the emerging PCI (Payment Card Industry) requirements, we developed an interface for the Sagepay (Opayo) online payment system to take deposits online.
  • Completely redesigned the online booking interface. Returning climbers can now book a adventure in as few as 5 clicks.
  • Implemented a system for recording climber capacity. Climbing mountains is not without danger and is normally physically demanding – Jagged Globe need to be confident that each climber is fit to climb.
  • Integrated the Jagged Globe site with the SendInBlue email marketing platform so the mailing lists are completely GDPR compliant.
  • To help Jagged Globe make best use of the many images that the clients collect, we have built systems to upload and manage customers’ images in bulk.

Web Development for e-commerce in Saltash

Amongst the most successful online vendors of model railways and craft goods in the North, with a volume of sales to match, Rails of Sheffield needed Little Fire to provide an enterprise-level e-commerce solution.

Built on the market-leading Shopify system, the new Rails of Sheffield site has provided the much-needed stability to allow the business to grow.

The new site meets a number of challenges:

  • The model railways market involves pre-orders with extraordinarily long delivery times. To accommodate this, we have created a custom, separate pre-order system using javascript integrated directly into the Shopify framework.
  • Stock management and order fulfilment is processed using Peoplevox. We coordinated teams of developers to get Peoplevox talking to Shopify and Rails of Sheffield’s two ebay shops.

Whatever you have to sell, we’d love to hear from you.

Web Development for

New Businesses Countrywide

Little Fire Digital helped build the website for West Sussex medical aesthetics business, Casafia, when they needed something a little different. This was an ideal job for us; we collaborated with our client to design the logo and branding which features subtle colourways and crisp, modern layout.

The website features online booking through the Pabau CRM – a system developed specifically for the medical aesthetics market.

Pabau is built to smoothly work with Mailchimp to handle customer communications so we completed the Pabau email templates so that they matched the lovingly created branding of the main website. Mailing list subscription forms on the site add users directly a Mailchimp mailing list and the client can change their contact preferences without ever leaving casafia.com.

To keep things simple, the IRC client works with Facebook Messenger – our client’s usual chat platform.

Custom Website Development for Fundraising

AFC Wimbledon were in a fix. They had decades ejected from their historical home ground, Plough Lane, and had at last managed to purchase a site and start building the their new home ground on the same street, Plough Lane, in South London.

The new ground was about to be completed but they had run out of money.

Under lunatic time pressure, Little Fire stepped in, worked like fools to created them a bespoke platform from which AFC Wimbledon could issue bonds and raise money from their supporters.

It turned out to be the greatest fundraiser in the history of the football league, and Little Fire Digital helped it to make it happen. Read the case study to find out more.
