Little Fire for Bespoke Website Development in Gwynedd

Our team members at Little Fire have been designing bespoke websites nationwide since the beginning of the internet. We’ve fixed a lot of thorny problems and come up with some great solutions.

In the past, Little Fire have: authored stock management systems for a Sheffield supermarket chain, integrated the Brightpearl order fulfilment system with bespoke websites, created custom products to sell maps from Google maps, bonds to help build AFC Wimbledon’s Plough Lane Stadium; and a simplified checkout procedure to sell mountaineering trips online.

Bespoke Web Development in Porthmadog – Every Project is Different, Every Solution is Unique

Your business is yours and you’ll know more about it than we can guess at. So, instead, here are few quick examples to show some of the wins we’ve achieved.

Website Development for Global Businesses

Reaching for the Peaks

From the late 1980s until today, Jagged Globe has been one of the foremost company running high-altitude trips for customers. They were the first British company to organise a professionally-led expedition to Everest. Jagged Globe serve clients globally.

We didn’t design the website but we’ve updated a great deal, while retaining the original design and its impressive imagery.

It hasn’t been simple, to stay up to date we have:

  • Ensure the Jagged Globe site meets Google’s mobile-friendly standard.
  • To meet the emerging PCI (Payment Card Industry) DSS, we implemented the Sagepay (Opayo) payment gateway to take deposits online.
  • Completely redeveloped the booking procedure. Existing clients can now book a trip in as few as 5 clicks.
  • Implemented a procedure for recording customer capacity. Climbing in the wilderness can be dangerous and is normally physically demanding – Jagged Globe need to know that each and every client is fit to travel.
  • Integrated the website with the SendInBlue mail management platform so the mailing lists are fully GDPR compliant.
  • To help the client show the many images that the climbers collect, we have developed an application to upload and manage clients’ photos in bulk.

Rails of Sheffield Website - custom web development fromLittle Fire Digital

Bespoke Web Development for e-commerce in Porthmadog

Rails of Sheffield, are amongst the largest retailers of model railways and toys in the country – with a volume of orders to match. When they came to us, we needed to deliver an enterprise-level e-commerce solution.

We built a new site on the industry-leading Shopify platform that has proven to be the solution they need.

The new site fixes a number of problems:

  • The model railway market permits pre-orders with very long delivery times. We have created a bespoke, distinct pre-order system using javascript integrated directly into the Shopify framework.
  • Stock management and order fulfilment is processed using Peoplevox. We coordinated teams of developers to get Peoplevox talking to Shopify and the client’s two ebay shops.

Whatever you have to sell, we’d love to hear from you.

Web Development for

New Businesses Countrywide

Little Fire Digital developed the website for West Sussex medical aesthetics clinic, Casafia, when they needed something personal. A dream project for us; Little Fire worked with our client to create the logo and branding combining subtle colourways and clean, modern design.

The website integrates with the Pabau Customer Relationship Management System – a system designed specifically for the beauty market.

Pabau is smoothly integrated with Mailchimp to handle client emails so we completed the Pabau email templates so that they matched the lovingly created design of the corporate website. Mailing list subscription forms on the main site add clients directly a Mailchimp mailing list and the client can update their contact preferences without ever leaving casafia.com.

To keep communication simple, the chat widget is built to work with Facebook Messenger – our client’s preferred chat platform.

Web Development for Fundraising

AFC Wimbledon were in a fix. They had decades ejected from their historical home ground, Plough Lane, and had somehow managed to purchase a site and start building the their new stadium on the same road, Plough Lane, in Wimbledon.

The new stadium was nearly finished but they had run out of money.

Under mad time pressure, we stepped up, worked like fools to delivered a standalone platform from which AFC Wimbledon could issue bonds to raise money from their supporters.

It turned out to be the greatest fundraiser in the history of the football league, and Little Fire helped it to make it happen. Read the case study to find out more.
