Little Fire Digital for Custom Website Development in Milton Keynes

Our team members at Little Fire Digital Limited have been developing custom online solutions countrywide since the internet was young. We’ve solved a lot of knotty problems and come up with many terrific solutions.

In the past, our team have: developed stock management systems for a Sheffield supermarket franchise, integrated the Brightpearl Retail Operating System with unique websites, created custom products to sell maps from Google maps, loans to help finish AFC Wimbledon’s Plough Lane Stadium; and a simplified checkout application to sell adventure trips online.

Website Development for Global Business

Reaching for the Top

Since the late 1980s, Jagged Globe has been the foremost firm organising high-altitude trips for customers. They were the first English company to organise a professionally-run attempt on Everest. Jagged Globe organise expeditions for customers around the world.

We didn’t build the website but we’ve updated a great deal, while retaining the original design and its stunning photography.

It’s not been straightforward, to stay up to date we have:

  • Redevelop so that the site meets Google’s mobile-friendly requirements.
  • To meet the emerging PCI (Payment Card Industry) regulations, we implemented the Sagepay (Opayo) online payment system to take deposits online.
  • Completely redesigned the booking procedure. Returning clients can now book a expedition in as few as 5 clicks.
  • Implemented a application for recording customer health. Climbing mountains is not without risk and is typically physically demanding – Jagged Globe need to be certain that each customer is fit to climb.
  • Integrated the site with the SendInBlue mail management system so the mailing lists are fully GDPR compliant.
  • To help the client make best use of the many photos that the clients collect, we have implemented an application to upload and manage climbers’ images in bulk.

Custom Web Development for Online Retail in Olney

Amongst the busiest online vendors of model railways and craft goods in the North, with a volume of orders to match, Rails of Sheffield needed us to create an enterprise-level e-commerce solution.

Built on the rock-solid Shopify platform, the new Rails of Sheffield website has provided the much-needed stability to allow the business to grow.

The new site fixes a number of problems:

  • The model railway market involves pre-orders with exceptionally long delivery timeframes. We have created a on-off, separate pre-order system using javascript integrated directly into the Shopify framework.
  • Stock management and order fulfilment is processed using Peoplevox. Little Fire Digital coordinated teams of developers to get Peoplevox talking to Shopify and the client’s two ebay stores.

Whatever you have to sell, we’d like to hear from you.

Website Development for

New Businesses Countrywide

When Worthing beauty business, Casafia were looking to go online, they came to the help of Little Fire {Digital Ltd}. This was an ideal task for us; Little Fire collaborated with our client to develop the logo and branding which combines soft colourways and crisp, modern design.

The website integrates with the Pabau CRM – a system designed for the medical aesthetics market.

Pabau seamlessly works with Mailchimp to handle client communications so we designed the Pabau email templates so that they matched the exact design of the corporate website. Mailing list subscription forms on the main website add users straight to a Mailchimp mailing list and the customer can manage their preferences without ever leaving casafia.com.

To keep communication simple, the IRC client works with Facebook Messenger – our client’s regular text platform.

AFC Wimbledon and the Plough Lane Bond Website - Little Fire Sheffield helped bing the Dons home.

Web Development for Fundraising

AFC Wimbledon were in a spot of bother. They had years dispossessed of their traditional home ground, Plough Lane, and had amazingly managed to buy a site and start building the their new stadium on the same street, Plough Lane, in Wimbledon.

The new ground was nearly completed but they had run out of money.

Under lunatic time pressure, Little Fire stepped forward and worked like slaves and developed a unique platform from which AFC Wimbledon could sell bonds to raise money from their supporters.

It turned out to be the greatest fundraiser in the history of the football league, and we helped it to make it happen. Read the case study to find out more.
