Aiming for the Summit
From the late 1980s until today, Jagged Globe has been the leading firm organising high-altitude expeditions for climbers. They were the first English company to organise a professionally-led expedition to Everest. Jagged Globe serve clients worldwide.
Although we didn’t design the website but we’ve completed a huge number of projects. All whilst preserving the original scheme and its beautiful imagery.
It’s not been straightforward, over the years we have had to:
- Redevelop so that the Jagged Globe website meets Google’s mobile-friendly standard.
- To meet the PCI (Payment Card Industry) DSS, we implemented the Sagepay (Opayo) payment system to take client deposits online.
- Massively simplified the booking procedure. Returning climbers can now book a trip in as few as 5 clicks.
- Implemented a application for recording client fitness. Climbing mountains can be dangerous and is normally physically exacting – Jagged Globe need to be confident that each customer is safe to travel.
- Integrated the Jagged Globe site with the SendInBlue mail management system so the mailing lists are completely GDPR compliant.
- To help Jagged Globe display the many pictures that the clients collect, we have built tools to upload and manage climbers’ images in bulk.
Unique Web Development for e-commerce in Clayton le Moors
Amongst the largest online vendors of model railways and craft goods in the Country, with a volume of sales to match, Rails of Sheffield needed us to create enterprise-level e-commerce.
Developed on the rock-solid Shopify system, the new Rails of Sheffield website has provided the much-needed stability to allow the business to grow.
The new site meets a number of challenges:
- The model railways market permits pre-orders with extraordinarily long delivery timeframes. We have created a bespoke, bespoke pre-order system using javascript integrated directly into the Shopify framework.
- Stock management and order fulfilment is processed using Peoplevox. We coordinated development teams to get Peoplevox talking to Shopify and the client’s two ebay shops.

New Businesses Countrywide
Little Fire Digital built the online presence for West Sussex medical aesthetics business, Casafia, when they needed something unique. A perfect task for us; we worked with our client to design the logo and branding combining subtle colourways and crisp, stylish design.
The website integrates with the Pabau Customer Relationship Management System – a system created for the medical aesthetics market.
Pabau is seamlessly integrated with Mailchimp to handle client emails so we designed the Pabau email templates so that they matched the exact branding of the corporate website. Mailing list sign up forms on the site add clients straight to a Mailchimp mailing list and the user can update their contact preferences without ever leaving casafia.com.
To keep things simple, the IRC client plugs straight into Facebook Messenger – our client’s preferred chat platform.
Bespoke Website Development for Fundraising
AFC Wimbledon were in a bind. They had years away from their traditional home ground, Plough Lane, and had amazingly managed to purchase a site and start building the their new home ground on the same street, Plough Lane, in South London.
The new ground was nearly finished but they had run out of money.
Under insane time pressure, we stepped forward, worked like fools and created them a one-off platform from which AFC Wimbledon could sell bonds and raise money from their supporters.
It has been the most successful fundraising project in the history of the English football league, and we helped it to make it happen. Read the case study to find out more.
“Wimbledon fans are always at their best in a crisis and we like a challenge. So when we needed to stop control of the club being sold off in late 2019, a few of us suggested launching a Bond scheme.
That idea went from concept to a live website in a fortnight thanks to the tireless efforts of Simon and Little Fire.
They had to deal with all of the standard website challenges (design, layout, content etc) as well complying with legal regulations and compliance policies that were being finalised as we went along.
Oh, and that fortnight included Christmas and New Year. It was a difficult brief on an impossible timescale, but they threw themselves into it wholeheartedly and delivered a well-designed, easy-to-use robust and secure solution under all that pressure.
And the campaign? Well that raised over £5m in a matter of weeks and is the largest bond raise by a British football club ever.
