Little Fire for Bespoke Website Development in West Berkshire

Our team at Little Fire have been developing custom websites countrywide for many years. We’ve resolved a lot of tricky problems and come up with many great solutions.

In the past, Little Fire have: authored stock management systems for regional supermarket chain, integrated the Brightpearl Retail Operating System with bespoke websites, created unique product types to sell maps from Google maps, bonds to help finish the Plough Lane Stadium for AFC Wimbledon; and a streamlined checkout page to sell mountaineering expeditions online.

Web Development in Chieveley – A Solution for Every Problem

Your business is yours and you’ll know more about it than we can guess at. So, instead, here are few brief examples to demonstrate some of the wins Little Fire have achieved.

Custom Website Development for Businesses Worldwide

Aiming High

From the late 1980s until today, Jagged Globe has been the foremost firm running high-altitude trips for customers. They were the first British company to organise a professionally-led expedition to Everest. Jagged Globe serve climbers worldwide.

We didn’t build the website but we have done a great deal. All whilst preserving its original scheme and its impressive photography.

It’s not been without difficulty, to stay up to date we have had to:

  • Redesign so that the site meets Google’s mobile-friendly standard.
  • To meet the emerging PCI (Payment Card Industry) requirements, we developed an interface for the Sagepay (Opayo) online payment gateway to take deposits online.
  • Massively simplified the booking system. Returning clients can now book a expedition in as few as 5 clicks.
  • Developed a procedure for recording client capacity. Climbing at high altitudes is not without danger and is often physically exacting – Jagged Globe need to be certain that each and every customer is safe to travel.
  • Integrated the company’s site with the SendInBlue email marketing platform so the mailing lists are fully GDPR compliant.
  • To help Jagged Globe make best use of the many photos that the clients collect, we have implemented an application to upload and manage clients’ pictures in bulk.

Rails of Sheffield Website - custom web development fromLittle Fire Digital

Unique Web Development for Online Retail in Chieveley

As one of busiest online vendors of model railways and craft goods in the North, with a volume of orders to match, Rails of Sheffield needed Little Fire to develop an enterprise-level e-commerce solution.

We built a new website on the rock-solid Shopify system which has provided the much-needed stability to allow Rails of Sheffield to grow.

The new site fixes a number of problems:

  • The model railway market involves pre-orders with exceptionally long delivery timeframes. To accommodate this, we have created a custom, distinct pre-order basket and checkout using javascript integrated directly into the Shopify framework.
  • Stock management and order fulfilment is processed using Peoplevox. We coordinated development teams to get Peoplevox talking to Shopify and the client’s two ebay stores.

Whatever you‘re selling, we’d really like to hear from you.

Web Development for

New Businesses Countrywide

When West Sussex medical aesthetics business, Casafia were looking to launch, they came to the help of Little Fire {Digital}. This was a perfect task for us; we collaborated with our client to develop the logo and branding which features subtle colours and sharp, modern design.

The website features online booking through the Pabau CRM – a system created specifically for the medical aesthetics market.

Pabau is seamlessly integrated with Mailchimp to handle customer emails so we completed the Pabau email templates so that they matched the lovingly created branding of the corporate website. Mailing list subscription forms on the site add users straight to a Mailchimp mailing list and the user is able to change their preferences without ever leaving casafia.com.

To keep communication simple, the chat widget is integrated to work with Facebook Messenger – our client’s regular chat platform.

AFC Wimbledon and the Plough Lane Bond Website - Little Fire Sheffield helped bing the Dons home.

Unique Web Development for Fundraising

AFC Wimbledon were in a fix. They had years away from their traditional home ground, Plough Lane, and had somehow managed to purchase a site and start building the their new stadium on the same road, Plough Lane, in South London.

The new ground was almost completed but they had run out of money.

Under near-impossible time pressure, Little Fire stepped in and worked like slaves to delivered a one-off platform from which the Dons could sell bonds to raise money from their supporters.

It turned out to be the most successful fundraising effort in the history of the football league, and we helped it to make it happen. Read the case study to find out more.
