Our team members at Little Fire have been developing custom websites countrywide for many years. We’ve fixed a lot of knotty problems and come up with many outstanding solutions.

In our history, Little Fire have: written stock control systems for a Sheffield supermarket chain, integrated the Brightpearl order fulfilment system with custom websites, created custom products to sell maps from Google maps, loans to help finish the Plough Lane Stadium for AFC Wimbledon; and a streamlined checkout application to sell mountaineering trips online.

Custom Web Development for International Businesses

Aiming High

Since 1987, Jagged Globe has been one of the foremost firm running mountaineering trips for climbers. They were the first British company to organise a professionally-led expedition to Everest. Jagged Globe organise expeditions for climbers globally.

We didn’t design the Jagged Globe website but we have updated a huge number of projects, while preserving its original scheme and its beautiful photography.

It hasn’t been simple, to stay up to date we have:

  • Redevelop so that the Jagged Globe site meets Google’s mobile-friendly standard.
  • To meet the emerging PCI (Payment Card Industry) DSS, we implemented the Sagepay (Opayo) payment system to take deposits online.
  • Completely redeveloped the online booking procedure. Returning climbers can now book a expedition in as few as 5 clicks.
  • Implemented a application for recording customer capacity. Climbing in the wilderness is not without danger and is typically physically exacting – Jagged Globe need to be certain that each climber is safe to climb.
  • Integrated the company’s site with the SendInBlue mail management system so the mailing lists are fully GDPR compliant.
  • To help the company make best use of the many photos that the clients collect, we have implemented tools to upload and manage climbers’ photos in bulk.

Unique Web Development for Online Retail in Bovingdon

Amongst the largest online vendors of model railways and hobbies in the north of England, with a volume of orders to match, Rails of Sheffield needed us to create an enterprise-level e-commerce solution.

We developed a new website on the rock-solid Shopify platform which has provided the much-needed stability to allow Rails of Sheffield to grow.

The new site fixes a number of problems:

  • The model railways marketplace permits pre-orders with exceptionally long delivery times. We have created a bespoke, separate pre-order system using javascript integrated directly into the Shopify framework.
  • Stock management and order fulfilment is processed using Peoplevox. We coordinated development teams to get Peoplevox talking to Shopify and Rails of Sheffield’s two ebay shops.

Whatever you‘re selling, we’d like to hear from you.

Web Development for

New Businesses Countrywide

When West Sussex medical aesthetics business, Casafia were looking to build their website, they consulted the help of Little Fire {Digital Ltd}. A dream job for Little Fire; we worked with the client to develop the logo and branding combining soft colourways with crisp, stylish layout.

The website features online booking through the Pabau CRM – a system developed for the beauty clinic market.

Pabau is built to smoothly work with Mailchimp to handle client communications so we designed the Pabau email templates so that they matched the lovingly created design of the corporate site. Mailing list sign up forms on the main site add customers directly a Mailchimp mailing list and the client is able to manage their contact preferences without ever leaving casafia.com.

To keep things simple, the IRC client works with Facebook Messenger – our client’s regular text platform.

Custom Website Development for Fundraising

AFC Wimbledon were in a fix. They had years dispossessed of their traditional home ground, Plough Lane, and had at last managed to purchase a site and start building the their new stadium on the same road, Plough Lane, in Wimbledon.

The new ground was about to be finished but they had run out of money.

Under insane time pressure, Little Fire stepped up and worked like fools and delivered a bespoke platform from which the club could issue bonds to raise money from their supporters.

It was the greatest fundraising project in the history of the football league, and we helped it to make it happen. Read the case study to find out more.
